Fab Place, Would Definitely Return
"The property was in a lovely little village. it has been restored to an amazing standard. the rooms are spacious and decorated lovely. the room was spotlessly clean and had great amenities. kettle, coffee machine and plenty of drink choices. the staff were so friendly. The breakfast was lovely. choice of continental or full English."
Perfect Stay, We Will Be Back
"We made a late booking as travelling for work purpose, our stay was perfect. The accommodation was clean, fresh, and warm. We could not fault our stay. Sadly, we had to leave by 7:00 in the morning for work so we were unable to enjoy the breakfast. We will be back."

Excellent Sunday Lunch
"Recently booked for Sunday lunch. The food was home cooked & well presented. Plenty of vegetables and lovely to have different veg aside from the traditional. One of our parties had apple pie for dessert, thank goodness I didn't as the portion size was amazing, and my friend said it was really tasty.
All the staff and chefs were really friendly. The place itself has been stylishly converted. Sad not to see many people there for meals, can only hope more people discover it. I was visiting the area, I moved away some time ago, & it is certainly worth the drive out of Boston. Good Luck to all."

Well Presented, Friendly Atmosphere and Great Food
"The Old Kings Head has only recently opened after what I believe has been a very extensive refurbishment / rebuild. It is a lovely old building that has been done up to the highest standard.
I had a lunch there with some colleagues a few weeks ago and found the atmosphere welcoming and staff friendly. There was a good range of food available and my meal (a Chicken Cesar Salad followed by homemade cake) was incredibly tasty.
I have also stayed in one of their rooms and found these to be comfortable, well decorated and clean.
I will definitely be returning to the Old Kings Head in the very near future."

"Popped in for a break and a coffee while working in the area. The place is superbly set out and decorated. The staff are very attentive and friendly. Although I only had a coffee the main menu looked very appealing. Hopefully, someday I’ll be able to take advantage of the food menu. Well done to Vicki and the staff for making it such a wonderfully friendly and appealing venue. Will definitely be back for another lovely coffee!"
Superb Lunch
"We called on the ‘off chance’ of a Sunday Lunch, yesterday 21st, and were not disappointed.
The service was very good, pleasant, and friendly.
The food was delicious. My partner had a word with the chef, and said it was the best Sunday lunch he’d had, so I kicked him under the table for that!
But seriously, a visit for food is a must."
