During its transformation, we have discovered the building holds many special memories for people over many generations. We want this to continue, and for The Old King’s Head to be a place for people to enjoy every day and to share their special occasions and moments with us.

Weddings and Civil Partnerships

The Old King’s Head is a B&B in the county of Lincolnshire, located in Kirton, Boston. This former coaching inn has been transformed into a beautiful, fresh building with so many of its rich architectural features still intact from over the centuries. This refurbished Grade II listed building is a perfect and elegant choice for your big day, from the ceremony to the reception, we have you covered.

Christenings

A christening is a very big milestone in a child’s life and one that should be celebrated accordingly.

When you book a christening with us, we will make sure that all is taken care of in a venue decorated to your style so that you can enjoy celebrating with your little one and making those memories you will never forget.

When someone passes it’s a devastating and unthinkable time in anyone’s life. When booking your Life Celebration here at The Old King’s Head, we will assist you with the planning and ensure that the event is one to be proud of when you say goodbye to your loved one.

We have a list of suppliers on hand who will help along with the planning and ensure you have as little stress on your hands as possible to allow you to grieve in your own way.

Hen Parties

Hen parties are an important point in any bride-to-be’s wedding journey. It is a chance for you to spend time with your close’s friends and family, celebrate, eat, drink, and enjoy your last few days before you get hitched.

However, if you decide to spend it we can tailor this to your needs to make this extra special for you. We can organise a private room for a delicious afternoon tea, entertainment of your choice from live music to craft courses, and even stay over with us in one of our beautiful bedrooms.

Our Snug in the Main House is also ideal for a 1-2-1 or small business meeting and can be reserved for you to make sure you get a bit of quiet in beautiful and relaxing surroundings.
